Dental Membership Plans Explained: Which Roseacre Dental Plan Is Right for You?
Looking after your teeth is an important part of maintaining your overall health, but the cost of regular dental care can sometimes make it difficult to know how best to budget for your appointments. At Roseacre Dental Practice in Maidstone, we believe that preventative dental care should be accessible and affordable, which is why we offer dental membership plans designed to help you spread the cost of routine care.
Whether you are looking for a plan for yourself or want to encourage your child to develop good dental habits from an early age, our membership options can make staying on top of your oral health easier.
What is a dental membership plan?
A dental membership plan is a simple way to spread the cost of your routine dental care through regular monthly payments. Rather than paying for certain routine appointments individually, you can make a monthly payment that helps you budget for your ongoing dental care.
At Roseacre Dental Practice, our membership plans are designed around the principle of preventative dentistry. Regular dental examinations and hygiene appointments allow your dentist and hygienist to monitor your oral health and identify potential problems at an early stage.
This can help reduce the risk of dental problems developing or becoming more serious, potentially reducing the need for more complex treatment in the future.
Why choose private dentistry at Roseacre Dental Practice?
While we do not currently offer NHS dental treatment, many of our patients choose to join our private practice because they value a more personal, convenient and reassuring approach to their dental care.
As a family-run practice, building long-term relationships with our patients is incredibly important to us. We pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming environment where patients feel genuinely cared for, listened to and comfortable at every visit.
We understand that visiting the dentist is not something everyone looks forward to. Some patients come to us after experiencing long waits, difficulty getting appointments or feeling rushed during their dental visits.
Our aim is to make dental care feel straightforward and well supported from the moment you join us.
As a private patient at Roseacre Dental Practice, you can benefit from:
- Longer appointments, giving you time to discuss your concerns and ask questions without feeling rushed.
- A dedicated dentist and hygienist who get to know you personally and understand your dental history.
- Faster access to appointments and emergency care when you need us most.
- On-call support for registered patients, providing additional reassurance outside normal practice hours.
- A wide range of treatments available in-house, including complex root canal treatments, crowns and CT scans and OPGs, helping to reduce the inconvenience of travelling elsewhere for certain specialist services.
- A preventative approach to dental care, focused on identifying and managing potential issues early, before they become more painful or require more complex treatment.
- Access to our practice membership plans, allowing you to spread the cost of routine dental care through manageable monthly payments, while benefiting from included hygiene visits and discounts on eligible treatment.
For many patients, one of the biggest benefits of private dentistry is peace of mind. Whether it is knowing you can access an appointment when you are in pain, having enough time to discuss your concerns or feeling confident that your care is tailored to you, many patients value the continuity and support that private dentistry can provide.
We regularly care for busy professionals, families, nervous patients who appreciate extra time and reassurance, and people who simply want the confidence that their dental health is being proactively managed rather than reactively treated.
Our Adult Dental Membership Plan
Our adult membership plan is designed to help you maintain your oral health while making the cost of routine dental care more manageable.
Plans start from £12.92 per month, helping you budget for your dental care with regular monthly payments.
Depending on your plan, benefits can include:
- Routine dental examinations
- Dedicated hygiene appointments
- Small X-rays where clinically necessary
- Discounts on eligible dental treatment
- Assistance through the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme, subject to the scheme’s terms and conditions
- Additional membership benefits and support
Membership can also provide savings on eligible treatment, making it a potentially valuable option if you need dental treatment in the future.
Our Children’s Dental Membership Plan
We also offer membership options for children, helping parents make regular dental care part of their child’s routine from an early age.
Children’s plans start from £8.90 per month and are designed to encourage regular dental attendance and help children develop positive habits around their oral health.
Regular appointments can help your child’s dentist monitor their teeth and gums, identify potential problems early and provide advice on brushing, diet and preventing tooth decay.
Starting regular dental visits early can also help children become familiar and comfortable with the dental environment, which may help reduce anxiety about dental appointments as they grow older.
How can a dental membership plan help you save money?
One of the key advantages of joining a dental membership plan is that it can make the cost of looking after your teeth more predictable.
Rather than paying for every routine appointment individually, you can spread the cost through manageable monthly payments. Depending on the plan you choose, your membership may also include hygiene appointments and provide discounts on eligible dental treatment.
This means your membership can offer benefits beyond simply spreading the cost of your routine appointments.
It is important to remember that membership plans are optional and do not cover every type of dental treatment. Your dentist will be able to explain what is included in your chosen plan and any additional costs that may apply.
What happens when you join Roseacre Dental Practice?
If you are considering joining Roseacre Dental Practice, our team will take your details over the phone and arrange your first dental examination.
Your initial examination typically takes around 30 minutes and gives your dentist the opportunity to get to know you and assess your current oral health.
During your appointment, your dentist will:
- Check your teeth and gums
- Inspect existing dental work
- Complete a mouth cancer screening
- Check your neck and jaw for any potential issues
- Take X-rays where clinically appropriate to assess areas inside the teeth and beneath the gumline
The examination fee is £62, which is taken as a deposit. Any X-rays required on the day are charged separately and start from £40.
Following your examination, your dentist can talk you through your personalised care plan and discuss the most appropriate options for maintaining your oral health.
If you decide that a membership plan is right for you, plans start from £12.92 per month for adults. Membership is entirely optional, and your dentist will be happy to explain the available options and help you understand how a plan could benefit you.
Hygiene appointments are £79 when paying privately, or may be included as part of your membership plan, subject to the terms of your chosen plan and eligibility.
Is a dental membership plan right for you?
A dental membership plan could be a suitable option if you want to:

Looking for an NHS dentist?
We understand that private dentistry may not be the right option for everyone.
If you are specifically looking for NHS dental care, you can check local availability through the NHS website or contact the NHS dental helpline on 0330 311 2233, where an adviser can search for practices that may be accepting new NHS patients.
For urgent dental issues, you can also contact NHS 111 for advice and assistance.
